Decoración navideña Parte 7 / Christmas Deco Part 7

11 diciembre 2014

Hola a todos! Y feliz jueves!

Hello guys! and happy thursday! This week is almost finished and to help you with the last days and that you have something to do this weekend ;) I´ll bring you today this special DIY. Time to put up the Christmas tree :)

This Christmas tree is a little bit different, so I really hope you guys like it. As usual, first of all the material we will need.

1. Adornos navideños.
2. Soporte de corcho o lienzo.
3. Ramas de árbol o pequeños troncos.
4. Pegamento de contacto.
5. Purpurina.

1. Christmas ornaments.
2. Cork or a canvas.
3. Tree trunk or tree branches.
4. Contact adhesive.
5. Glitter.

First step, we are going to glue the tree trunk pieces. I am using these ones wich I bought in the Christmas section of the supermarket. They are quite light so it will be really easy to glue them to the cork canvas. I am also gluing the Christmas tree star that I did in another DIY in this blog.

Now, it´s time to leave it dry, I have left it drying for 24 hours and, meanwhile, I have been customizing some Christmas ornaments I had from past Christmas. And how? using the main Christmas material, glitter. I have mixed glue and water in a bowl and then with a brush i have blend it all over the ornaments, putting the glitter on top, and leaving it dry.

I have also used this little Christmas tree balls and put them all around the Christmas tree,

And now, a little bit of shine! I found this silver strips in a Christmas decoration shop and I thought they will fix perfectly with the tree trunks.

Finally, we add the rest of the ornaments and the lights! I have used this white lights, but you can use colored lights :)

¡Y listo!

And it´s done! Finished! :) What do you think? Do you like it? I think is a very good option if you have a small house or if you just want a different Christmas tree this year :)

Have a look to the pictures so you can see the final result.

¡¡Feliz fin de semana!!
