Otoño en burdeos / Velvet autumn

11 noviembre 2015

Hello everyone! How are you? I´m quite happy cause the cold is coming and I love autumn, so it is time to knit! Time to knit beanies, scarves, mitten... So, today I bring you my first knitting project, really easy and quick, so take your yarn and needles and let´s get started!

Materiales / Things you need:
- Aguja lanera / Yarn needle

First thing, cast on 54/56 stitches in your knitting neddles. I´m using the drop stitch to knit my scarf.

1st and 2nd row: knit stitch
3rd row: knit one stitch, make 2 yarns over instead of one, as usual. Repeat the same thing for the rest of the stitches.
4th row: knit the first yarn from the previous row and you will see how the strands which formed the yarn over in the previous row start to loose and stretch out.
5th and 6th row: knit stitch

Repeat from rows 1 and 2.

Once you achive the length you want (mine is about 20/22cm) you cast off your stitches and using a yarn needle, sew the ends of your scarf to make it tubular. And it´s done! What do you think? Do you like it?

    1. Hola Chelo!
      Besos!
