Crochet Bunny

Hace tiempo que me quedé prendada del blog de Tanya, Little Things Blogged y desde luego, está en mi top 5 de blogs que visito cada semana. Me encantan sus post y todo su trabajo, desde sus patrones hasta las fotos de sus post, ¡una pasada!. Además, como la Semana Santa está a la vuelta de la esquina, qué mejor momento para enseñaros el conejito que he tejido a partir de uno de sus patrones. ¿Queréis ver más? ¡Pues vamos allá!

Hello there! It´s been a while since I follow Tanya´s blog, Little Things Blogged, and I assure you is in my top 5 blogs I read every week. I love her posts, every one of each, how she edits her photos, all of her patterns... just no words! Aaaand as Easter is just around the corner, I thought it was the perfect time to show you the crochet bunny  have knit from one of her patterns. Do you want to see more? Let´s go!

En realidad, el patrón consta de dos modelos, el conejito y la conejita. De momento, sólo os enseño el conejio, pero no os preocupéis, que la conejita no tardará mucho en llegar ;)

In Tanyas crochet bunny there are two patterns in one, the male and the female bunny. Today I´m showing you the male bunny, but don´t worry cause the female bunny is coming soon too ;)

Para tejer el conejito me decidí por estos dos colores, el blanco y un azul aguamarina precioso. Los ovillos son de lana del 4, pero he utilizado una aguja deu crochet del 3 para que me quedara mucho más tupido, ¿qué os parece?

The colors I chose were white and a lovely aquamarine number 4 wool to crochet the pattern and a 3mm needle to make it more thick. 

Me encanta el detalle de la pajarita, le da un toque diferente y especial. El cuerpo del conejito va tejido por completo de una sola pieza. A parte se tejen las orejas, los brazos (que van cosidos al cuerpo) y la pajarita (que he pegado al cuerpo con pegamento textil). 

The body is knitted as a whole piece while the ears, arms and bow are knitted separately. I sewed the ears and arms to the head and body and I glued the bow using a textil glue.
